  •   Accepted Insurance Plans: Out of Network benefits

  •   Accepted Payment Methods: Check, Venmo, Cash, Mastercard, Visa, ACH Bank transfer

  •   My private practice is oriented toward fee for services provided, and the number of clients I can work with is limited.  Because managed care contracts are generally intended for brief interventions when individuals in crisis and require the provider to carry large caseloads as well as reveal private and intimate details about the patient, I do not participate with them. In addition, flexible spending plans accept payments to a Clinical Psychologists as qualifying expenses.

  •   Most insurance provide at least partial coverage – and in some instances full coverage for services with Licensed Psychologists who are out of network. I will be available to help you with paperwork and claim submission if need be. It is advisable to contact your insurer to find out what ‘out-of-network’ benefits you have. When you call your insurer, ask whether you have a ‘deductible’ for out-of network mental health services, and if so, what that amount is. Then ask what percentage of the fee your policy covers and whether that percentage changes as your yearly out-of-pocket expenditure increases. Some insurance policies have an annual ‘out-of-pocket’ maximum expenditure after which the policy covers a higher percentage of the per session fee or the entire fee.
